Products
Fomani Diesel Parts (FDP Power) supplies diesel-engine spare parts, including pistons, cylinder liners, piston rings, bearings, valves and gaskets. Product photographs, descriptions, dimensions and cross-reference numbers are provided to assist identification. Customers should verify engine models and compatibility before ordering. We will not exclude responsibility where goods fail to match an agreed description or where mandatory law provides a remedy.
Quotations & orders
Products are offered by quotation. Sending a Request Quote enquiry does not create a purchase contract or obligation to buy. Quotations identify the goods, prices and relevant conditions. An order becomes binding only through the agreed order acceptance process. Consumers must receive the required pre-contract information and explicitly agree to any payment obligation before a binding distance order is placed.
Prices
Prices are confirmed in individual quotations. The quotation will identify the currency, applicable taxes, shipping and any other mandatory costs. Consumer customers will be informed of the total price including applicable VAT and other mandatory charges before placing a binding order. Any changes to an accepted order require agreement or an applicable legal basis.
Payment
Available payment methods, timing and any advance-payment requirement are stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Dispatch takes place according to the agreed payment conditions. We do not assume that all payment methods are available for every order.
Shipping & delivery
We supply customers in Greece and internationally, subject to availability and applicable shipping restrictions. Delivery charges, destination, shipping arrangements and estimated delivery dates will be agreed before order confirmation. Stock is subject to prior sale until the order is accepted. For consumers, delivery obligations and risk transfer are governed by mandatory consumer law; business deliveries follow the agreed commercial terms.
Returns & cancellations
Business returns of non-defective goods require prior written agreement, without prejudice to mandatory rights. Consumers who conclude an eligible distance contract generally have 14 days after receiving the goods to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions. The consumer should send an unambiguous withdrawal notice within that period and return goods within 14 days after giving notice. Refunds and any withholding until goods or proof of return are received are handled as required by law. The direct cost of returning goods is borne by the consumer only where disclosed before the contract and otherwise legally permitted. The model withdrawal form appears below.
Defective goods & warranties
Customers should contact us with their order information and a description of any issue. Consumers retain statutory remedies for goods that are defective or do not conform to the contract, including the applicable minimum two-year legal guarantee under EU rules as implemented nationally. A manufacturer warranty, if supplied, is additional to statutory rights and does not replace them. Business-customer remedies are governed by the agreed terms and applicable commercial law.
Product compatibility
Please provide the engine manufacturer, model, relevant dimensions and original part references where available. We use the information supplied to assist in identifying the correct parts. Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel. These recommendations do not remove statutory rights for incorrectly supplied or non-conforming products.
Complaints
Inspect deliveries when practical and inform us promptly about damage, shortages or discrepancies. When possible, include the order number, product code and photographs. There is no contractual 14-day complaint cut-off that overrides mandatory consumer rights.
Liability & force majeure
We will seek to resolve delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control and notify affected customers where appropriate. Any limitations for business transactions apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer remedies that cannot legally be restricted.
Applicable law & disputes
These terms are intended for sales by a business established in Greece and are generally subject to Greek law. Mandatory consumer protections, including rules applicable to cross-border consumers, remain unaffected. Please contact us first to discuss any dispute; applicable rights to courts and legally available dispute-resolution mechanisms are preserved.
